Whatever you’re holding onto… mentally, emotionally, physically or vibrationally, that doesn’t serve you anymore, LET IT GO.
Old stories, old events, old occurrences that you witnessed, participated in or maybe, actually, only heard about. Let that go, too.
If it isn’t 100% relevant in making your life better today, let it go.
So, that means if someone you know did something they probably weren’t proud of 11 years ago, LET THAT SHIT GO.
They don’t want to hear about it. And it has nothing to do with you. That was on THEM back then, but when you bring it up today, it’s on YOU. Let it go.
The only thing you need to concern yourself with, is yourself. You deal with you. If you make it about someone else, that’s YOUR problem. Let it go.
If it isn’t going to make the situation better, let it go.
We’ve all done things we aren’t proud of. And literally the fact that we’re not proud of them is what allows us to learn what we needed to learn, and now we get to move on. So let’s all move on.
There is NOTHING wrong with making mistakes, even making the same mistake multiple times. These things happen and no one is perfect. Let it go.
But, if you need to point out other people’s mistakes while completely ignoring your own, YOU have a problem. You can let that go, too!
When you find yourself dwelling on something someone else has done, stop thinking for a moment and feel what you feel, physically in your body.
Where is it? Stomach, chest, throat, neck, shoulders, etc…
What is the major emotion you’re feeling? Anger, resentment, exhaustion, etc.
Have you ever done anything wrong?
What did you do wrong?
Did you correct it immediately after the first event? No? Why? You’re human?
OH! Good to know.
Now, guess what… we’re all human. Let it go.
It’s So Hard To Let Go
I know, I know. Bless us everyone.
The reason we have such a hard time MENTALLY letting go of what no longer serves us, is that we’ve got enough of that energy stored in our physical body to power a battleship.
So, even if it FEELS big and difficult to let go of, it doesn’t have to be.
It feels like it will be hard and painful.
It feels like it will hurt and be scary.
You know what, it can be uncomfortable. But, that’s only temporary and you’ve been uncomfortable for a long time. What’s a few more minutes?
Mental / Emotional Detox
When we think of detoxing, folks probably think first of detoxifying their bodies, and yes, that is vitally important. But even more important than detoxing our bodies is detoxing our mind and emotions.
I’m always interested in the quickest and easiest solutions. I’ve done long, drawn out and complicated. I’m all in for peace and ease these days.
And when you learn to move the upset you feel physically through your body, you’ll find you’re less emotional, more confident and less easy to upset. It’s a beautiful thing!
I’m great at helping folks mentally and emotionally detoxify their lives.
