Weekly Photo Challenge – Horizon

Just up the road to the river…

That beautiful sky was our view driving up to our favorite spot on the Guadalupe river.

Heaven is a place on earth.

Heaven is a place on earth.

Heading home we were treated to a magnificent rain storm and a full double rainbow.

Note: If you’ve seen the youtube video of the guy filming the double rainbow you get somewhat of an idea how I was reacting. It was amazingly beautiful and I was beside myself. I have no shame.

OMG. It's a FULL Double Rainbow!!

OMG. It’s a FULL Double Rainbow!!

Rainbow Horizon

The rain slowed so I could roll the window down.

Full Rainbow Horizon

I could see the whole rainbow, end to end.

These shots were taken with my cell phone from the car with me turned completely around in the passengers seat.

It was a beautiful site to behold and I am so happy I witnessed it and now get to share it with you.

    • Ha! Thanks, Janet! So are the rest of the folks on the road that day. 🙂
We were driving away from it, but cars coming towards us were pulling over to take pictures. I just turned around in my seat and hung out the window. Not sure why we didn’t stop. Hahaha
      Have a great week-end!

    • Bless your heart, Jackie. I’m sorry to hear of your fathers passing but so happy to hear my photo’s soothed you.
Sending you much soothing, peace, ease and flow.
I am here if you need me.
