Practical solutions and first-hand testimony for gracefully moving through cancer.

In July of 2019 we got the diagnosis, Dionne had stage 4 breast cancer and it had metastasized into her spine causing multiple compression fractures. Her last chemo treatment was December 20th, 2019. And today December 28th of 2020, Dionne is out on the golf course (yes, we live in Texas). In the grand scheme of things it didn’t take too long, but sometimes it felt like an eternity. It was upsetting and frustrating and scary at times. But, we made it through.
From wherever you are, you can get to where you want to be.
You just have to want it and be willing to do a few things that will make the rest of it much, much easier.
You have to take responsibility for your own health, happiness and choices.
You have to be willing to feel uncomfortable without making things worse by believing the scary things your mind is telling you about what’s going on or could happen.
You have to be willing to change, first and foremost, the way you think.
The way you look at challenges and difficulties and the perspectives you choose makes your road exceedingly tough or remarkably easy.
Lots of folks just want a pill… so they don’t have to change anything. But, things have to change if you want something to be different. But, no worries, it doesn’t have be harder, on the contrary it will be so much easier when you support yourself mentally and focus on things in a way that supports you and everyone around you.
It’s OK if you feel overwhelmed and afraid or hopeless. Just because you FEEL that, doesn’t make it TRUE. There is always hope. It’s only a breath away. As you relax, breathe and allow your difficult moment or feelings to pass, your mind begins to open up. Options and opportunities that you couldn’t see before now become available to you.
I’ve created a page for Cancer Support. Listen to three podcasts specifically focused on the ways we moved Dionne through the worst part of her journey in 5 months and check out the resources that we researched and used to support her body through the process of healing.
Please share this with anyone that needs it or is open to this information. I’m offering a free soothing session to anyone dealing with a cancer diagnosis for themselves or a loved one. Email me at Crystal@crystalnuding.com to schedule.
