Disengaging From The Great Motivator – Part 3

Let’s look again at what fear actually is. It’s information. Really. A self fulfilling prophesy. Absolutely both.

So, what do we do with this fear? How do we use it to our benefit rather than letting it run our lives in a way that lowers our immune system and keeps us from making the best decisions for ourselves, based on our own knowledge of our hearts, minds and bodies?

The answer is this… pay attention and educate yourself.

Become aware of the motivations of others. Are they trying to set you free or are they controlling you?

Don’t blindly follow anyone off of a cliff. Keep your eyes peeled back and your britches on.

Let’s go through a couple ways fear is perpetuated.

THE GREAT MOTIVATOR EXPOSED

Projection 101

We don’t see the world as IT is, we see the world as WE are.

If we’re happy and well adjusted we’ll see things as such. But, if we lie, cheat and steal, we’ll think and accuse others of lying, cheating and stealing. When we do things wrong, we tend to think and accuse others of doing those same things.


Projection, the mental process by which people attribute to others what is in their own minds… At a social level, racism, sexism, xenophobia, homophobia, and other malignant “othering” mindsets have been attributed at least partly to projection.

If you are accused of doing or BEING something you know you are not, there is nothing to worry about; don’t “buy in” mentally to the accusation. If you know your own heart, and I hope you do, you already know the truth.

Recognize that these are tactics used by people, both intentionally and unintentionally, to make you feel something. Usually, the effort is trying to elicit some lower emotion like guilt, shame, fear, worry or compliance.

So, if it has worked, and you are feeling upset or triggered… relax, breathe and move through the energy physically in your body while supporting yourself mentally. These can be hurtful and upsetting moments.

Give yourself the loving support you need to move through it and come to a clearer understanding of what’s actually happening.

Recognize that it’s your job to move your own energy around each upset you face, and notice if you’re projecting your own issues onto people around you.

If you are, no problem! It’s great to become aware of what’s going on and begin doing the work of “seeing about our own self”.

It’s nobody’s job to make you happy or keep you informed. Take command of your life and begin moving in the direction YOU want to go.

Also, now is the time to become well aware of the massive amounts of projection going on around us at all times. This group blaming that group and that group blaming this group, it’s never helpful.

Intend to see beyond the distractions and keep yourself centered.

What’s really going on? Who’s really doing what? What clear and factual evidence do we have on the whole subject, not just someone’s opinion? (And at this point the NEWS is just a few folks opinion, not many real facts included.)

Have you ever watched someone instigate a fight between two other people? Could you see their motivation?

What did the instigator have to gain? What DOES an instigator have to gain?

Spend more time asking yourself questions about your beliefs rather than just looking for more evidence that supports them. This is doubly important when we’re looking at negative beliefs that assume some one individual or a whole group of “like” people are the bad.

Gaslighting 101

You know what gaslighting is. You’ve had or watched another go through a love interest that was absolutely “crazy making”. Being the most attentive lover in one moment and lying and cheating with the next breath, all the while CONvincing the victim it’s their fault.

In my helping people move through difficult relationships, I have been given countless examples of this very behavior. “Can you believe they did that?” To which I’d respond, “Yes, I can.”

When you see it, it’s very clear, but when you’re in it, the story is very different.


Gaslighting is an insidious form of manipulation and psychological control. Victims of gaslighting are deliberately and systematically fed false information that leads them to question what they know to be true, often about themselves. They may end up doubting their memory, their perception, and even their sanity. Over time, a gaslighter’s manipulations can grow more complex and potent, making it increasingly difficult for the victim to see the truth.

Gaslighting has been a tool of totalitarianism for many years. Insisting on total devotion with no ability to question or dissent, even if the mandate is self destructive. Lies are repeated over and over until they are taken for truth. The way of communication is deceptive and coercive, leading you directly to the one CONclusion, that you aren’t allowed to investigate.

When you begin to notice that a very small group gains MORE money and MORE power while a large group loses freedom, you’re catching on to the game.

REMINDER

This feels like a great time to remind you, that you are a powerful, free will, individual that can be, do, and have whatever you want.

You have the right to ask questions, make your own decisions and follow your own highest path. No matter what anyone else does or wants you to do. Virtue signalers and moral grandstanders can take a hike.

It may sometimes feel as if you are controlled by others, but the tools I share with you, will put your freedom firmly into your own capable hands.

But more importantly, you’ll learn here with me, about the game that will set you free from all struggle and outside, unwanted control.

The Game is Conscious Creation and the way to win is by learning to navigate your energy and emotions. Let’s go!!

YOU Are in the Driver’s Seat

One of my sisters texted me the pic below, saying it was too good not to share, I agree wholeheartedly. Thank you, Dawnie! Tears flowed while my heart soared as I read this page. This is how I know truth.

Can you recognize what that feels like for you? Do you think that Love is the Truth? Or do you think Fear is the Truth?

Whatever you expect, is what you’re creating. Don’t worry, everyone else is doing the same thing.

You can turn to, accept and embrace LOVE in any and every moment. Releasing the fear, drama and anger for understanding, lightening up and laughing about previous upsets, which will support a more just and equitable world and environment for everyone.

But, you have to decide you’re sick and tired of being mad and blaming others for your own emotions. We’ve all been there, it’s no big deal. Just don’t LIVE there for goodness sake!!!

Take a deep breath and relax. Notice what you’re feeling physically in your body. Now read the following text, notice what your mind says about what you read.

Chapter – Healing on the Lines of Time

Health is wealth, and a well-fortified immune system is the key to good health, and the simple key to a strong immune system is happiness. The decision to accept ultimate responsibility for creating your life experience will empower you toward attaining a state of mental clarity and physical vitality. For a few moments, quiet your mind, and after breathing deeply and rhythmically for a while, consider this important question: Is the world a dangerous, fear-ridden place or is it a great adventure filled with bountiful opportunities to awaken spiritual power and transcend established limitations?

My thirty minutes of meditation in the morning is my favorite time of the day. Sitting quietly, relaxing my body and mind. Thirty minutes to sit still and do absolutely nothing. Answering no one. Just feeling what I feel in my body as my thoughts bubble up and float by. This is the best place to deal with all of the things that are troubling me or keeping me stuck in a situation I don’t like.

This morning I was so relaxed; I felt an itch on my shoulder. Now, sometimes, I’ll scratch it and move on, but this morning I was too deep in to care. Just a few moments of my conscious attention focused on the itch and it was gone. I kept checking back to see if it was itching but it wasn’t. All I had to do was feel it.

This happens too with my feet or my knees. I’ll feel pain or discomfort and will shift to give myself relief rather than just allowing myself relief by feeling through the physical sensation. And I notice, when I do that typically I soon find another spot of discomfort. You know what happens when you scratch an itch… most times it gets itchier.

It occurred to me how often we think we need to physically manipulate our outside circumstances to make ourselves comfortable.

The biggest misconception most people have about their negative feelings (worry, anger, anxiety, fear, irritation, etc…) is that if we let ourselves actually feel them, they’ll never go away. This is a complete falsity.

To the contrary… the ONLY thing that allows the uncomfortable feelings to move is our allowing ourselves to notice, feel them and let them move without getting into some story in our mind about why we feel them. (Kids, partners, bosses, traffic, bills… etc)

Our feelings are our own. Every feeling we have ever felt is absolutely valid. Our feelings are our natural reaction to our life experiences and the best kind of information. When we truly understand this and stop judging ourselves for feeling what we feel, or being angry at another for having their own natural feelings everything in our life gets easier to deal with.

We no longer take anything personally. We can begin to realize that our reaction to life comes from our (your age here) years on this earth and what we’ve learned by how our parents and communities reacted to things.

We can learn to take control of our lives and actually NOT react, but feel what we feel in any given situation to find out what our next move should be.

Not reacting but feeling what you feel will always help to diffuse a situation. Many times I’ve noticed my initial reaction is a bit “over the top” for the scenario. I can feel and recognize I am WAY more upset about the current situation than is actually warranted and save myself and others further upset.

Your feelings are valid. That being said, some of them are caused by superficial circumstances that truly don’t warrant our attention. Who said what makes absolutely no difference. Who did what is much the same. Actually the cause for the deep level of upset or irritation is typically something that happened in our childhood or earlier life.

The beauty of not reacting in these moments is that you get to keep this all contained. You don’t have to make a big fuss and upset someone else that has no idea why you’re mad. They probably weren’t even a part of the picture when the real reason (the seed situation) for your upset happened to you and created the dense energy that keeps recreating similar situations in your life.

Stop giving people so much control over your life by worrying how they are acting and what they are saying. You get happy and feel every feeling that comes through your body and you’ll notice that people won’t say ugly or upsetting things to you. You’ll notice that as you stop judging and criticizing yourself in your mind, the world will become a more pleasant and approving place.

It’s only OUR OWN judgments and criticisms that come back around in our life experience as others judging and criticizing us. You stop doing it to yourself and it will stop happening in your outer life experience. You have to be your own kindest, most gentle and soothing cheerleader.

Notice every time you want to speak critically of another. Why? Did you take something they said or did personally? That wasn’t about you. It’s about them. Always. The way you react is about you. You can try to make it about you or just feel it and move on. If it’s not true there is absolutely no need to defend yourself.

If it IS true, recognize where you feel the upset, hurt or frustration in your body and allow the energy to shift and move. The next time it happens, you’ll notice it doesn’t bother you so much. And if you continue with this you’ll never be upset for long by another’s actions, regardless of who they are and what they do. You’ll know it’s not about you.

So on the flip side of that coin, what you do and how you react is solely about YOU. It’s not about them, what they said or did.

Your angry outburst or harsh reaction to a situation is all about YOU. No one else. Relax into your feelings and find the comfort of your own power. Know that as you allow this feeling to pass without giving it energy (by blogging about it, sharing it on Facebook or calling ten friends to cuss and discuss,) you are steadily and surely regaining your power.

There will come a time when you can sit back and smile at the chaos around you, no matter what it is. You won’t feel like you’re “dealing” with anything. You’ll respond peacefully and easily to any circumstance.

Knowing that you are doing what you need to be doing to create the life you want, nothing anyone else does or says will ever bother you. You’ll still have moments of upset and irritation, believe me. But they won’t last near as long and you won’t take them personally when you understand the truth of how the world works.

Happy New Year dear friends! Here’s to 2014 being your best year yet!

Do you really truly know what drives you? What compels you to make the decisions you do? I want you to think about the unspoken rules you live by and if they are working for you or against you.

So many of our beliefs(rules), make our lives more difficult than necessary. But, what if they aren’t true? How do you know?

What if there were an easy way to figure it out?

Good news… there is.

Once we take an honest look at the “rules” that govern the way we live our lives we get to consciously decide if they work for us or if maybe they are someone else’s rules we picked up by default and could change with ease.

What unexamined beliefs do you have that silently keep you on the hamster wheel of same stuff, different day? What false beliefs did you pick up in childhood or your early life that don’t allow you to experience the success you see in others?

Good girls don’t. Some folks can, but I can’t. The other shoe is about to drop. I’m not good enough. I don’t have what it takes. You have to work hard to make good money. Our bodies are meant to decline. I don’t know how. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. It’s impossible. I’m not smart enough. Girls wear pink and play with dolls. Boys take out the trash and mow the lawn. Daddy’s don’t stick around. Men are no good. Women are only after your money. Nothing good ever lasts. Expect the worst so you won’t be disappointed. Things never work out for me. I have terrible luck. You can’t find good help around here. All I deal with are liars and cheats. Nobody wants to work anymore. If you want it done right you have to do it yourself. I’m damned if I do and damned if I don’t.

Most of us don’t really believe all of these statements, but too many people don’t realize the energetic feelings behind this false information is quietly and surely shaping your life and experiences.

Do you have a hard time hiring someone only to have them leave a few months after proving a valuable asset to your team or organization? Maybe you are struggling to get pregnant or hoping to find a life partner or career that pays your bills and fulfills your soul. Wouldn’t it be nice to know why it hasn’t worked out thus far and how to get yourself on track to letting it in?
