You know what it is, conscious creators. Fuel.
Fuel for the fires of spiritual growth and ascension. Yes, please and thank you! Bring it on.
When we understand “triggers” in this way, we’re never concerned about being triggered. Or triggering someone ourselves.
Which, by the way, happens to me all the time.
I’m a “triggerer”. I tend to speak plainly and in a real way about real things. Not everyone likes that.
I was triggered into getting real REAL with someone the other day. Wowza. Did that NOT go over well.
(It happens to the best of us. Everyone in fact. So, quit worrying about it and Aikido that shit, use it to your benefit.)
I will absolutely admit to being triggered into that total realness and was having to breathe through some pretty intense feelings in my body.
After enduring things over and over, one gets to the point of needing to say something. So I did.
For days after the exchange, I was still moving energy around it, questioning everything, and I struck gold. (As is likely to happen when you move the energy and question everything.)
What triggered me about the exchange was an action and way of behaving that I have encountered more in my life than I want and instead of smiling and nodding and pretending to laugh at it, which I normally do, I didn’t.
I spoke my truth and said what I needed to say. I didn’t cuss and I wasn’t ugly. Though, my stern voice, I’ve been told can get a little loud. Who fucking cares? I don’t regret a word I said.
Moving Onward and Upward
And after the interaction, I got clearer and clearer about why I was so irritated.
My own painful memories of a much younger time surfaced for me to notice, acknowledge and release. Yes, please and thank you!
This beautiful soul was the teacher I needed to help me let go of some very old, crusty energy that, were I focused on it because of someone more important to me (say, an original player in the drama) it would have been much more difficult.
But, as it were, this was just a bit player in my life story. Not a foundational character that I can’t live without.
And isn’t this just exactly like most of the frustration and irritation in our lives? They aren’t THAT important. They’ve just shown up to help us uncover more of ourselves we’ve kept hidden because we didn’t know how to let it go.
Conscious creators understand that everything that triggers us in our lives is FOR OUR BENEFIT. And when you look at it that way, it is.
Saying someone is wrong for triggering us and holding them responsible for our feelings will only insure we have that sort of interaction again.
Whereas moving through the energy of the exchange and receiving the wisdom inherent in every situation will move us to a whole new level of consciousness and existence that we’ve yet to experience.
One in which we aren’t so constantly triggered by every upsetting and irritating story that scrolls across whatever screen we may currently be viewing.
Learning to Release the Trigger.
We don’t always have to get so real with folks. And it would have been my preference to NOT have had that exchange, because I care about people and don’t want to upset them. (And this more of me taking responsibility for other’s feelings… ha! See how this goes?)
But, here we are. All is well and I’ve just leveled up. Yes, please and thank you!
Can I see the current drama, trauma and insanity in our world today as an indicator that something better is coming?
What am I currently focused on that is causing me the most stress?
Is there another way to see it that serves me better?
Where do I carry that stress in my body?
I’m here to help folks alchemize that energy and those emotions into pure gold that they get to use. And when we understand that energy is the real currency we begin to see the true power in this.
I’ve described it as carrying around multiple 20lb bags of ice or being lifted and moved along by the steam that powers engines.
It’s all your energy and you get to choose in which way you engage with it.
Are you carrying it or is it carrying you?
It’s so much more fun to buoyed along, than to drag around the weight of the world.
I invite you to experience it for yourself.
I love you so much,
