What do you want?

Sending much love and soothing to everyone this beautiful day. We have been having relatively mild weather this Spring here in Central Texas. My hashtag #MilderTexasWeather is working. Next up is #MildRainyTexasSummer. Share it far and wide! For friends here in Texas, let’s see how we can change the weather, shall we?

It is much easier for someone outside the immediate situation to lend their positive thoughts, as someone facing a tornado can attest. My friend Roxanne Darling in Hawaii writes about how hashtag #thinkcalmthoughts helped dissipate two tsunami’s that were predicted to cause massive destruction. The people in the path of these storms may have been worried, but thousands of people across the world could(and did) easily think calm thoughts and affect the situation.

We are energetic beings and our thoughts are powerful. They explain how we are all connected and can communicate on a deep level even over thousands of miles.

Better and more powerful than any physical action you could take, really let yourself think about and focus on what you want. Once you get clear and more singularly focused on what you do want, inspiration comes and the action you need to take becomes obvious.

Here are some tips for how to more easily and effortlessly bring about the change you wish to see:

  • Think about it… often. What do you want?
  • Set a goal and write it down. What do you want? When do you want it?
  • Spend time writing about it. Describe what it will look like and how it will be in as much detail as feels good.
  • Post your hashtag on your social media accounts. Send it out for others to share the vision with you.
  • Create a beautiful picture of it either digitally or with magazine cutouts and write your hashtag on it.
  • Post it on your vision board or bathroom mirror.
  • Make it a part of your screensaver or computer background so you see it daily.

People truly love to support each other. A beautiful picture, story or even just sharing the hashtag. People will resonate with it and share it with others.

Share and expand your vision, dream or desire with us. What do you want more of?

Taking Right Action

Too often, you rush into action. Society tells you if you’re not busy, you’re a procrastinator.
Oh, and don’t be slow. That’s the worst thing – slow!

Action for the sake of action, however, doesn’t always yield the best results.

•     Should you jump into action before you really know what the best solution is, because waiting would make you look slow and indecisive?
•     If you really don’t know what to do, and need time to figure out the correct course to take, will you be viewed as a lazy procrastinator, good for nothing?
•     Once you’ve made a decision, do you stand by it, whether it works or not – because even worse than procrastinating or being slow is admitting you’re wrong?

You’ve been tricked by your own mind into believing that finding the problem will solve it – if you look long and hard enough at all the things that could go wrong, you’ll be able
to arm yourself with enough defenses to protect yourself and your stuff (umm – and your family, too, of course).

Problem with this is, you live in a universe based on a Law of Attraction. Whether you believe it or think it’s all just a bunch of hokum, it’s true. What you focus on, think about,
speak about – comes about. Looking for and finding problems only brings more problems.

If you remember from seventh grade Life Science with old Mr. Wilson (or whoever), the Earth and all matter in it are atoms, vibrating. Magnified even further, you – and
everything – are just oscillating fields of energy. Science has been saying this for over a hundred years, but the majority of people don’t know it.

Of those that do, most still live like someone else is controlling their lives. The government’s taking my rights away, my boss undervalues me, my parents don’t understand me, partner doesn’t appreciate me, children don’t respect me, the sun’s terrible for my skin, high-fructose corn syrup causes diabetes, it’s the terrorists, the media – and everything I love makes me fat or is bad for me!

You are in control.
One day, we’ll all stop giving our power away to doctors and media, government, beauty creams, the sun. You’ll be independent of other people’s opinions, moving in the
direction of what you want by focusing your thoughts.

Taking control of yourself is the fastest way to bring about the personal and global change you wish to see in the world.

Take the medicine, use the creams with awareness, allow them to work. It’s your MIND that ultimately heals – not the medicine, not the cream. Use your mind to support you in
creating the life of your dreams, rather than one you worry into existence.

You have the power already. When your mind is supporting you, you’ll always be inspired to take the right action, living the life you’ve always wanted, with the health,
wealth, and relationships that make your heart sing.

My life completely turned upside down (fabulously!) in October, and I was wondering how it was all going to work out. Financially supporting myself without a “job” with a paycheck for the first time was nerve-wracking and exciting, all at the same time.

Today I have a thriving practice working with businesses and individuals, doing most sessions over the phone or via Skype. The money is coming, steadily and surely – but it took months before I realized how stuck I was.

Years of doing things the way other people want them done can take a toll on you. You begin to think someone else might actually know what you should do better than you.


A belief is just a thought you keep thinking, whether it’s true or not. To create space for success, don’t get into some dramatic story of what’s happening and why and who’s wrong or right. You’re already attracting what you focus on, think about, talk about. If life’s going great and you’re loving it, then keep doing what you’re doing. But if you want more (or less) in your physical reality, learn how to magnetize what you want.

The grip of “what’s going to happen” can be strong, but let the energy move and it always works out. Always.

Enjoy the unfolding of your life’s path

2012 has been quite an expansive year. Much of what came clear to me at the end of 2011 was expanded upon and my life has turned into something so absolutely wonderful, I couldn’t have previously imagined it. At this time last year I would never have thought I would be here today. And though the road here had some twists and turns (and more than a few bumps) I wouldn’t trade “here” for anything in the world.

We sometimes get confused thinking we live in a life/death world. What actually happens is life, death, and life again. Not the same as before, but life. And actually even better than before if you’re looking at it from the right perspective. Because as we experience the transition of one thing into another we learn and discover more and more about life and ourselves. We can learn what we’ll do differently next time and reflect on what we’re proud we did this time. We can learn how to handle ourselves in ways that are respectful to ourselves and others.

Life is the game we play our whole lives. Living, learning, growing and expanding. Understand the game and life is really easy.

Reflect today on your past year and appreciate everything that has worked out for you. (If you’re reading this from the physical plane things are going alright!) Allow yourself to feel through any regrets, sadness or frustration you’ve had. Take some deep breaths and appreciate what you learned from each situation that hurt or felt less than good.

If you can’t yet find the positive perspective, lightly set your intention to get there and let it go. Decide to be your own best friend and cheer leader. Support yourself mentally with kindness and compassion. This simple act will change your entire life.

The very idea of 2013 has my heart bursting. I was born on Friday the 13th, so 13 has always been my lucky number. 2013 is my year! I am filled with joy and excitement over what’s already here and what is on it’s way.

This is your year too. This is the year you will fully recognize and understand the point in this life is joy and begin to move easily and confidently in that direction.

You are meant to live an expansive, exhilarating, good-feeling experience. It was your plan when you made the decision to become focused in your physical body in this time-space reality. You were born knowing that you are a powerful Being; that you are good; that you are the creator of your experience, and that the Law of Attraction (the essence of that which is like unto itself, is drawn) is the basis of the Universe, and you knew it would serve you well. And so it has.

The Abraham quote this morning put me into a state of appreciation because I do know this is how life works. And it works quite well.

To the people I have worked with in 2012, Thank you! My life is richer because I know you. Helping you reach your ultimate goals of inner peace and freedom is one of my greatest pleasures.

To the folks I’ll work with in the coming year, your freedom is on it’s way, quicker and easier than you think. I can’t wait to share it with you.

Much appreciation for an excellent 2012 and even more anticipation for a successful and satisfying 2013. Here’s to the new. New year, new perspectives. Here’s to everyone recognizing their own inner genius, true ultimate freedom and complete power over their own lives.

Sit with those thoughts a moment, get a picture of your perfect life, and hold it in your mind. The feeling of absolute power – finally, everything exactly the way you want it.
Breathe. Let this feeling wash over you.

What if you were told you’re already responsible for creating the reality you’re living? That day in and day out, the way you feel about your life is within your control, and is the key to controlling reality.
Would you believe it? Do you believe it?
All day, every day, you’re making choices that create your life, even things that irritate and upset you.  What if you knew the feelings of frustration and upset were propelling you toward what you want – and should be appreciated?

You’re already driving. Might as well do it consciously.
Imagine driving a car, but not looking at the road. You’re likely to run into more than a few things you hadn’t planned on, and certainly weren’t expecting.  When you’re aware of your role as the driver, your head’s up and your eyes are on the road.
You can learn how to drive (or navigate feelings) on your own, but it’s easier to get a little help. You can be your own coach with just a little practice – and maybe an occasional touch of the divine.
The universe is set up in the most brilliant, efficient way. Quantum physics and The Law of Attraction explain it beautifully – in theory. To live and experience it is to be free.
All you need to do is allow yourself to be soothed and uplifted. (It’s the holidays – even the most laid-back can use some soothing.) It’s never as bad as you think, and the only thing that ever needs to change – in any situation – is your perspective.
Are you letting your focus make you unhappy, letting outside situations determine how you feel, listening to things that upset you and make you mad?
Turn them off.
Once you know the secret, the simple trick that can soothe your body and mind, nothing’s that big a deal – and you’ll recognize even the biggest deals as pure potential.

Mind Control

Our minds can tell us some pretty scary stories. Most of which there is NO actual evidence of, mind you, just general or very specific scary thoughts, stories or ideas. (As a mother, I know I’m not alone in wanting to wash my brain after flashes of ridiculous thoughts about the safety of my child.) They could stem from the news, a friend, the radio or maybe just bubbled up all by itself from our little brain. At some point we have to recognize these negative thoughts flowing from our minds are…. #1 – not who we are, #2 – not helping and #3 – not true.

Our brains are machines, pre-programmed to focus on and ferret out what is wrong in every situation. It’s as if our minds are a self-defense mechanism for our species. It served us well thousands upon thousands of years ago, but not so much today. No big deal. Just decide to begin seeing things from a different, lighter perspective, there is always a bright side. Set your intention to recognize when your mind is trying to “sell” you something and don’t buy in. Sure there are things out there we don’t like, but our attention to them only gives them energy, makes them bigger and more powerful. What you focus on expands.

Once you begin to grasp what this means, your life will change rapidly and easily.

When I observe people around me upset about what they are seeing in their own reality (everyone’s is different!) and talking about it being so bad, I wonder… What do you think is happening with each word that comes out of our mouths, speaking to the contrary of what we want?  I’ll tell you what’s happening, more and more of what you don’t want is being generated and “shipped out” to you for your experience, like you just placed your order on Amazon.com. It’s even free shipping! Yep, step right up folks and talk all you want about what you don’t want, don’t like, think is wrong and feel so strongly about and MAKE NO MISTAKE the universe will put more and more of that on your delivery truck. We live in a Law of Attraction based universe, whether you know or understand it or not. It WILL show up in your world. Trust me, I know. I also know it’s all too easy and feels too good to bitch, moan and complain about how things are wrong, wrong, wrong and this world is going to hell in a handbag! (Oh, and get someone on that bandwagon with us, that always feels better. ha.) Guess what, I’ve done it before myself. But, none of that changes anything.

What does change everything is letting go.

Let go of your attachment to all of your thoughts and everything you think. Stop worshiping at the alter of your negative thoughts. They don’t control you. YOU control them. Make the decision right now to stop being so romanced by negativity. Notice what you feel in your body when you’re focusing negatively on something. Soothe yourself and let that feeling pass. Now, focus on something more pleasing. If you can focus on what you want and it feels good, great! Do that. Or focus on your beautiful view, or awesome pet, or fun family, or great partner or exciting up coming adventure. Focus on something that feels good and makes you laugh and feel happy.

What you want is on it’s way to you. The larger part of who you are, knows exactly what you want and wants you to have it. And furthermore is doing all it can within the confines of your attitude to bring it to you. All you need to do is quit focusing so much on what’s wrong and start looking around at what is great about your life. There is plenty. This vast and wondrous universe that created us all to have our own individual personalities and desires is more than capable of creating the outcome you want. And you having the outcome you want doesn’t have to come at the expense of someone else. There is enough for everyone.

Rather than trying to make the world look exactly like you want it to, what if you concerned yourself, mainly, with how you feel? What if we went for happy and healthy, rather than “I have to be with this specific person, in this specific town, doing this work, specifically.” What would be the big tragedy if you actually went for happy before the relationship, job, house, etc? You can be. Just decide that you want to be happy and begin moving in that direction. If you need help, get it. This is your life! Enjoy it to the fullest.

So the next time your mind serves up a big heaping helping of fear/doom/gloom, pass.

Stare At The Carrot

Don’t you just love it when you get a glimpse of the macrocosm in the microcosm? It is like watching the evolution of our species in the entire process between the first division of our single cell to the complete humans we become. Seeing the really big picture in a very small way or as ordinary part of everyday life.

Last night while fixing dinner, as usual, Oliver (pictured left) gets bites of the veggie being chopped, on this occasion, carrots. He knows it’s coming and waits patiently (or not) to receive them. Dionne tossed the carrots one by one, Oliver dutifully went after.

He missed one.

I stood looking at the carrot from my vantage point and seeing Oliver waiting expectantly in the kitchen, I told him the carrot was over there. (Looking at Oliver…) “Oliver, look over there. The carrot is over there.” (Pointing) Clap. Clap. Snap. “Hey! Oliver! Dude. Look over there!” Lord. This dog. (Actually, he’s a genius, but he does have his moments. I guess we all do. wink)

I looked over at the carrot laying on the rug. I heard, “Stare at the carrot”. It then occurred to me… Alecia Evans, my animal communicator friend says to communicate with your dogs/animals through visualization.  Duh. They get pictures from us. Yes, dogs can understand some words, but mainly they are taking the mental images we are projecting. In my head again, “STARE at the carrot.” OK!

So I thought, “Oliver the carrot is over there!” and I stared at the carrot. Not thinking anything, I just stared at the carrot.  After about 15 seconds Oliver jumped like someone had goosed him and went hot-steppin’ it into the living room. He sniffed around a couple of times and headed straight for the carrot.  Well, well, well.  Again, Duh.

STARE at the carrot.

Before, I was looking at Oliver and telling him over and over again what I wanted him to know.  But what really worked was me staring directly at what I wanted him to see.  WOW!  Now that’s what I’m talking about people! Yes!  Practical applications in several areas.  I love when that happens. The universe brings us what we focus on. Period. No amount of calling, clapping, snapping and arm flailing makes what we want happen any faster than our pure focus and attention.

I know. I know. It’s not always easy to stare at the carrot. I hear ya. I really do. I’ve been feeling and moving through some big energy myself, and it ain’t all sunshine and roses. But, hear me now and believe me later. It’s all good! Energy is moving. You’ve got to let it move. You really can feel what you’re feeling and still keep your eye on that carrot. (If you can’t on your own, get sessions for help with your particular flavor of resistance!)

Let yourself have the time to really feel what you need to feel. (NOW! Recognize your mind is going to take you on a trip… yeah, yeah, yeah.  Been there, done that. I know what you’re doing. Thank you very much and let it go. The sooner you get bored with that busy mind the better. Then it can serve you rather than yank you around.) Spend some time getting into your body and finding where those feelings reside. Appreciate all of your lower emotions for letting you know you had this vibration going on and there is more power for you to reclaim. Yes! Thank you!

Don’t try to rush out of it. You are where you are and you feel what you feel. You are in the perfect place. Be OK with how you feel. Take the drama out of it. Let yourself really fully embrace that feeling, knowing that the slower and more deliberately you do this the faster it moves. When we try to skim the feeling or judge it, it only lasts longer or comes back later more powerfully. It will keep coming back until you appreciate it and allow it to flow freely on.

Find out what your carrot is (joy, health, vitality, expansion) and keep your eye on it.  If your mind is the problem, recognize it. The sooner you hear it, the sooner you can unhook from it.  Lightly set your intention to release all attachment to it’s endless chatter. If you need help, get it!  This is your life and it is meant to be enjoyed!

Here’s to our soft, easy and laser like focus on everything we want and the beauty in all of it.

Set Backs

I recently experienced what some would consider a set back.  While it didn’t feel good, (sucked actually) I truly knew I (and everything) was ok.

I look at life a bit differently than most folks.

I do not believe that life just happens to us.  There is no one and nothing outside of ourselves pronouncing us good or bad, right or wrong.

We’ve been trained by society, family and religion to fear life; that someone out there is trying to hurt or take advantage of us. While we do have free will to look at life that way, it’s a pretty unhealthy (not to mention unhappy!) way to live.

There is a much larger part of ourselves, that you may or may not be aware of, (but is there none the less!) that is always happy and sees the positive in every outcome. When we begin to see life from the perspective that all is well, life gets much better.

Shit happens.

Life Happens.

And I always see the bright side.

Just Wake Up!

I can move myself around in my dreams.  When in dream, if I find myself in a situation I don’t like or think will be too difficult to get out of, I just wake up. I don’t always remember my dreams, but the ones I do, I’m usually aware I’m dreaming.

I’ll move about through the dream
and direct myself in one way or another.  I once dreamt I was on a narrow one way, one lane road, as if there were road construction all around. I drove for miles and miles with not enough room to turn around, and then came upon a complete block in the road.  At first glance, backing up the entire way was my only way out.  Screw that! I thought, wake up!  Ahhh sweet relief. Laying there in my bed I giggled at myself for creating such a situation, relaxed and fell back to sleep. Thank goodness I was dreaming.

Last night I dreamt I was walking through some place that although wasn’t a prison, it FELT like one.  All of the sudden I was in a stark room with concrete floors and no apparent doors. There was some evidence of water on the floor and one lone, plain desk stood against a wall. I realized I needed to get out but couldn’t see the obvious way.  As I began to get anxious about it, I felt the walls getting closer. Wake up! It took about one more breath for me to say, “yeah, I’m outta here. Wake up.” As I smiled and went back to sleep I thought, prison, interesting.

This morning as I recapitulated my dream, first in my own head and later to Dionne I realized how often we sleep walk though our own lives. How we think/dream we are in some sort of prison or have no way out.

All we ever need to do, is wake up.

Waking up.  Ahhhhhh.  What a relief.  Waking up to the realization that it was only a dream. Waking up to the fact that we DO in fact get to create this reality. Waking up to the fact that we get to feel when we’re asleep and recognize those feelings of negativity or pain as indicators for us to wake up. Wake up to your large self. Wake up to the goodness and beauty surrounding you in this world and right now in your life. Wake up to your safety and security in every moment. Wake up to the love and adoration you are showered with daily by the Divine. Wake up to your absolute, true and complete worthiness and that anything you’ve ever thought to the contrary is a lie and only you dreaming. Wake up. Life is perfect right now. We are all safe and it will all work out.

The only thing that truly needs changing is our perspective and by allowing ourselves to move the energy that needs to be moved we get a much clearer picture of that. Feel what you feel, recognizing the story is just a dream and you are free.

Feel the truth of the message that all is well, we need only to wake up!
