This girl knows life should be easy

Life caused me to begin asking questions at an early age. An understanding came to me that I just thought everyone else had as well… life is supposed to be good, and fun and happy. (To this day it’s apparent to me that not everyone knows this vital truth!)

As a very young adult I found myself in an unhealthy marriage with a child. It was during that time I was introduced to a book, The Writings of Florence Scovel Shinn. The compilation of Shinn’s four famous books changed the course of my life.

It was the first time I realized I alone held power in my life.  It was the beginning. As with anything there is a learning curve and practice is always helpful. I lived for another few years, letting outside forces upset and distract me from living the life I wanted, but the journey had begun.

I read books from many religions and philosophies, taking from each what I knew to be true in my heart and lovingly letting the rest go. It was at this time I recognized what truth felt like. The unmistakeable knowing you feel in your heart. It’s different for everyone, and that is perfect.

The idea of Enlightenment, while it sounded wonderful, felt like something very far away. What is it really, I wondered? What does Enlightenment even look like, anyway? The idea of a 40 year journey to what? Sitting in a cave? Mindlessness? Does that even sound fun? Not really.

But my desire for and commitment to joy and happiness never wavered. Knowing I was solely responsible for the raising of my young son strengthened my resolve to show him a happy, healthy and joyous life.

A few years ago, I grasped the whole truth. I fully understood the way the world works and have been surfing life joyously ever since.

I do coaching sessions via phone or Skype with people all over the world. In just a few sessions, I can help you understand your emotions and how to let them move. Your true, ultimate freedom is available now. It’s easier than you think.
