While spending time in Italy last summer, during our visit to Castel Gandolfo, we struck out on a hike around Lake Albano. After a stop for a refreshing beverage and sustenance in the form of Arugula, Tomato & Cheese pizza we headed for home.
As we were getting lost and finding our way again, this beautiful scene presented itself.

The beautiful setting sun and great company made this a must capture moment.
Then of course, came the tunnel that took us back through the mountain to the beautiful home where we were staying. With barely a sidewalk on either side and the maniacal Italian drivers coming from both directions, each trip through the tunnel was an adventure. Thank goodness there were lights!
Always an adventure!

Cool photo of the tunnel. I have given up trying to take night shots, they are either over exposed or they look like I am dancing why I press the button.

Thank you! I understand completely about night shots. Sometimes they work out and sometimes they don’t. This pic was also a consideration for the Eerie photo challenge. It was nerve wracking, get your blood up kind of trek every night through that tunnel. 🙂
